National’s baseball player, Ryan Zimmerman, has a foundation that raises money for MS research. Ryan’s mom has MS so this cause is close to his heart. There will be an auction at the Nat’s stadium on July 14th and this quilt will be one of the auctioned items. Joyce, who made this quilt along with a friend’s help, is not only a Nat’s fan, but Ryan is her favorite player on the team. She will be attending the auction, and is hoping for a chance to see her favorite player in person.
We quilted this with baseballs all over it, and it turned out really nice. She will be adding a baseball patch to the front with the name of the foundation on it, and Ryan’s number, 11, and a space for Ryan to sign the ball. I hope to add pictures of the finished quilt when she gets it done.

Red White & Blue
This customer’s quilt is made with the Nationals MLB team in mind.
Brilliant colors make up the striking center of this quilt then four boarders are added to frame it nicely. The final boarder is a baseball fabric which is very unique!
The backing fabric is a patriotic flag print which matches the colors of the front perfectly.
